- Who did it (which staff member)
- What changed (a product, a sale, a price, a setting)
- When it happened
Example
If stock changes unexpectedly, open the Audit Log to see which staff member changed it and at what time.
Audit logs are for managers and owners. They never show passwords or payment secrets — only safe, business-level activity.
